A very cool followup...
Today we were at the Local Friendly Victory Dealer Open House and in rides my old Speedmaster. So I wander over to the guy as he's getting off and asked him where he got that POS Triumph.
He gives me a kind of startled look
and then I introduced himself and we had a great old time talking about the bike. (He bought it at the Vic dealer where I traded it in.)
He's a real nice guy, loves the bike, takes great care of it and has been putting a lot of miles on it. It's gone from 15,000 to 20,000+ in the last 5 months or so. I wish him well with it and many more miles.
You may see him here some day in the future.
