When I moved from Alabama to Florida in 1989, I had to take a separate written test and a road skill test on the bike. If I hadn't have studied a bit, I wouldn't have passed. AL at the time didn't have any separate motorcycle endorsement. It's not a bad idea to take the course in FL as you graduate with your endorsement.
