Not sure if this is the right forum, so feel free to move it.
I have been striping all of the goodies that came on my bike. Chrome chaing gaurd, light bar, foot boards, pegs hangers, stock sprocket cover. I was thinking about dumping them, but I don't have a clue what they would go for.
Does anyone have an idea of what I should expect for them? I am trying to figure out if they are worth the trouble to list and ship before I try and sell them.

I was hoping to get an idea so I could set a reserve or avoid having to list on ebay at all.

General rule of thumb is that a fair price for used parts in good condition is 50-75% of new value, depending on age, rarity etc. Go thru the classifieds and see if there's any similar items that've sold.. you can also list recently sold items from ebay.

Does this website have a for sale section? if not could you post a new topic to find out what people would be willing to pay for your stuff, after all you have a fairly dedicated audience. where are you? i might be interested myself. forgive my ignorance of this site i'm reasonably new to it.

Check the CLASSIFIED section, Lee. Read the Sticky Post for posting guidelines

Hi Pipedr,
I thought about posting this in the classified, but I didn't because I am not sure if I am going to sell them. I was trying to see if they are worth enough to post them.
But, it seems like this should go there. So if a mod can delete this thread, I will post it over there.
Thanks

Jack, That post wasn't aimed your way. I don't see anything wrong with your post or where it is. My post was just a reply to Badger who asked if we have a 'for sale' section. Sorry if you took it that way.

Jack, I think the 50 to 75% rule is good, and for stuff like stock sprocket cover, I usually do something to do a guy a favor. Sold mine for like 30 bucks I think? Covered shipping and gas to the post office I'll be lookin forward to your post in the classifieds! Been thinkin about boards or switchblades!

Jack,
I'll leave it here, as this is quite a unique thread! When you want to sell do so with a post in the classified. But discussing what accessories are worth or what the oem parts are worth that were replaced with aftermarket/chromed triumph goodies is fine. Post away!
