I minused the recall bracket and went with the Kury kit for VTX 1300.
Location is much improved.
Kury setup has a separate plated cap, so the cover doesn't have to come off to check/add fluid.
I think you'd have to lay it down with the tank in a ditch to get air in the cylinder.
