I think the long rear fender adds to the look myself.

I was sucking his exhaust all day yesterday and those pipe sound awsome, not too loud. The rear brake works great also avoiding craters in the road. Joe

Yeah I hit a really bad one too and never saw it coming. I try and point out bad ones so the guy behind me doesn't hit it. Should have been with us yesterday Tom , we did the Camptown Races ride Then down past the lake and Childs Park and all, you would have loved it, fairly long ride. We lost Jack about 6 PM he had to go home to get some rest for work.

Hey, I had to ask what u painted the chrome dash with and if you sanded it down so it would stick, I would like to paint mine black, but I dont want it flat black, I was thinking a texured look but more on the shiny side. Mark

yeah i sanded the chrome down a bit with 120 or 240 i forget. Just enough to scuff up the chrome nicely and then i painted it with krylon plastic paint in satin black. I love the shine on it cause its not gloss and its not flat and sorta contrasts with the tank when its not pledge up.
Textured would be cool, ive seen people use spray on bedliner, thats a unique look. Probably pretty hard to remove if you dont like it though.

I recently painted my bezel flat black with two coats of flat clear overtop. The clear gives it a nice look but it's not gas proof, I found out the hard way.
