Though not a technique of riding, this can really help when you either witness an accident or involved in one.

A basic first aid course is offered by a number of organizations. To help in this pursuit here is one link. American Red Cross

After the GA Rally 04 I enrolled and attended such a class. Dang English Yankees and preachers.

I'm glad to see the webmasters keeping this notice alive. I've atarted carrying a 1st Aid kit whenever I go on an all day ride.

Same here. I carry a nice hefty emergency kit which has just about everything except an I.V. It's also good for getting stuck on the side of the road for a day or two.
