Anyone tried out alloy sprockets? I have found a company here in the UK that can supply both front and rear but I am a bit worried as to how long they will last been quite a soft metal compared to steel.
I am changing down from a 19t to an 18t on the front and leaving the 42 on the rear, also going to see if they can supply a new chain as mine is rusty and looks a mess.

Just presumed that alloy was softer than steel because it usually is! Have you got alloy sprockets and if so do they last!

i cant see them lasting nearly as long, and the steel ones show wear at 20k. dont see any real advantages as the sprockets are not that heavy
