Tow questions for you all.

1. Did any of you ever read "Magnus,
Robot Fighter"? I think it was from DC. Now THAT would be a cool movie.

Yep I remember Magnus although I never read it originally. The book was never published by DC but instead by Goldkey which was a major publisher at the time with many popular titles based off of tv and disney properties. Later the character was published by Valiant, which bought all of the Goldkey hero characters, in the early '90's and then by Acclaim, the videogame company.

Question 2. Does Marvel even print comic books anymore? My grocery store does'nt carry them. I remember a few years back they were in bankruptcy proceedings, and this before the movies started hitting it big.

Marvel has never stopped. The reason you don't see too many comics in the places that sold them when we were kids is that they've gone to a direct market where comic stores are the major selling point for the market. The last few years both Marvel and DC have realized that the best way to get new readers though is to expose them the way we were so they've started to reenter the markets of old.

I won't even try to explain the mess of the bankruptcy. Let's just say Marvel is healthy again.
