I bit the bullet and bought all three of mine their own helmet. All are various ages and sizes and wanted them to have the right fit for helmet. Also went full face helmet route. Hate to have them live with a busted face for their life. They generally wear the same garb as I would - over ankle boots, jeans, long sleeve jacket (denim) or otherwise. There are some kids apparel sites out there. I have not gone all the way to armor.
