I've had my share of Ford trucks and I liked most of them until they got to 100K miles or so and then all kinds of trouble. Ball Joints, transmissions, water pumps, alternators. It seems like they hold up well for a few years and then self destruct after that. Finally switched to Toyota in 2004 and I'm not going back.
