I know that the Exploders had tranny problems, but many OD trannys seemed to have problems at one time the early Durangos had tranny problems too, not sure if it's been fixed yet or not. As a towing operator you tend to see trends and when you tow a bunch of 1 kind of vehicle for the same issue you see a pattern. People will still argue with you and say it isn't so, Nissan Pulsar and Sentra had really bad trannys in the 80s.
