Hmmm.... Fords I've had.....
'35 coupe 239 59A engine '41 tudor 286 59L engine '63 Galaxy 500XL, 390 V8 '68 ranch wagon, 390 V8 (I think) '64 F100 351 V8 '77 cougar XR-something or other, 351 V8 '88 wagon, 302 V8
Every last one ran hot. The flatheads had to be rebuilt every summer. The monkey-motion engines didn't last as long as my ironhead Sportster between overhauls and the autoshifter gearboxes didn't even last that long. There is someone who works with the OL that has a new Ford Towus. It's a good thing they live in town because it goes into overheat mode just as they get to work.
 Fords that I've had: 1967 F-100- 352 1965 Mustang- 289 'K' code (Hi-Po) 1968 Fairlane- 302 1972 Galaxy 500- 400M 1973 F-250- 390 1990 Taurus- 3.0 1995 F-150- 302 1998 Windstar- 3.8
Never had heating problems. And, they were all in Vegas. All went well over 100K (over 200K on the Taurus and Windstar) before I got something else.
(Except the 'stang, I beat it bad. But ir was fun )
