I have bought just one Ford in my life and it will remain that way. My SportTrack's transmission went bad right after the warranty expired. Yes we had to put a new transmission and since then no other major problems, but this just ****** me off too badly. 4 yrs, a new transmission after just 4 fraking years! The tow truck guy who according to him used to work for Ford told me that its a common problem for Furd's trucks... I wish I would have bought the Tundra instead.
