Every last one ran hot. The flatheads had to be rebuilt every summer. The monkey-motion engines didn't last as long as my ironhead Sportster between overhauls and the autoshifter gearboxes didn't even last that long. There is someone who works with the OL that has a new Ford Towus. It's a good thing they live in town because it goes into overheat mode just as they get to work.
On the other hand, I've owned a number of MoPars beginning with the '52 Plymouth I traded the '41 for, and had no major problems with them.
