I had a Ford Ranger also that blew a head gasket. But in fairness, I don't feel it was Fords fault. I had a crappy mechanic here in Dahlonega, Ga. that wasn't doing the work I paid him to do, and even though I can't prove it, I think that is why the truck died.
But at present I do have an S10, 2002 quad cab that I am absolutely thrilled with. Haven't had any problems with it at all. I also had a 97 S10 Blazer that was a great car also.
