On the way to work today the speedy seemed alittle sluggish occasionally. On the way home tonight, it was sputtering occasionally. Power, hiccup, power, hiccup. that kind of thing. I just had the 6K service. Any ideas?

Sounds like either bad gas or fuel starvation. Fill the tank up with good gas and check to make sure your petcock is in the right position. Also, if the tank was removed for the service, the vent line may have been pinched.

You might also check to make certain that the plug wires are fully seated, but that's the last thing I can think of.

If any of this works, please let me know.

Oh, and thanks, soldier!!

I had a similar problem. Mine turned out to be bad gas.
Small amount of Carb Cleaner in the gas tank, topped up with fresh gas fixed it for me

JC dont discount the spark plug lead after the last time mine was in the shop for tappets and tune 100k's down the road it started to miss and splutter on 1 cylinder then back on to 2 next thing it was running on 1,turned out to be a lead was loose in the coil then it must have fallen out once sorted and replaced in to coil no problems for the last 5000k's
