Frank, it does seem low. I have a stock airbox with UNI (no snorkel) SS exhausts, stock carbs (drilled slides) with dyna kit style adjustable needles, 45 pilots and 125 mains. Dyno runs showed max. of 65.54 ft. lbs. of torque and near 75 hp. The best part of all to me was that at 5250 rpms, I have about 60 hp and torque. The 904 kit is on my 790 with stock cams. Was the air/fuel mixture ok? Mine does lean out a bit in the higher rpms, but trying a larger main (130) made the overall worse.
