Short story move it if need be
Comming back from Georgia after Will left us,Kenny mert and I made a last fuel stop before are last leg together,
after taking to long at the station mert and kenny wait patiently for my slow self to get on the bike. mert told me to take the lead ( I was ducking doing it) so I did, badly of course, so I took them through the curves of Virginia, almost losing Kenny in the traffic. Kenny finally has enough and blows past me at what had to be 100 mph,now kenny is probably a mile ahead of us I look over and mert passes me on the right signaling me to get moving. So I flow in about 5 feet behind her and we get moving. I see a sun flash flow off her bike and all of a sudden im looking down over us, two Blue and Silver Americas moving into a turn going 95 mph as one. I still get shivers , her brown leather jacket with the wings on it my black one with the overstuffed bag on it leaning into a turn flying past traffic. When I return to my bike im grinning like a little kid. 5 miles later kenny and mert take there exit and with a wave there gone. But that moment looking down on us riding like the wind will stay with me as long as I live, with a flash of sunlight beaming off two blue and silver machines riding fast into the northeast

Cool visual, Chris. Sounds like one of those magic moments that only comes along once in a while. You actually described the sight I had following you two blue bikes up 85 Sunday morning. I generally don't really like riding interstate, but it was much better with the small group on Sunday.

Although, the image I was expecting to read about was the sight of Kenny on his Goldwing...cruise control set...flapping his arms like a bird flying down the road at about 75 mph. I think I laughed out loud in my helmet at that.

It was good to meet you last week.

Will

Hmmmm...."Out of body" experience, huh Chris.

Well, here's a suggestion for ya for next year's Georgia rally, dude:
Before you partake of any hors d'oeuvres, ask what kind of mushrooms Chy and Di have set out for you folks back there!!!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I used to have these types of experiences all the time, but since the doctor adjusted my medication they don't seem to happen anymore.

Yep, and I do appreciate the referral to your personal physician.
