The one thing I've gotten on a handful of occasions is someone pullin next to me in traffic or in a parking lot and say, "that's a nice lookin bike.. who makes it?"
to which I either just point at the badge or politely say "Triumph" & the response.... "Yeah I see the name but Who MAKES it?"
Though the coolest compliment I got was one day I was out riding w/ my gal on the back, just toolin 'round town.... we get stopped at a light & we both look over to the right. In the car is a very old, many years young couple (prolly pushin 80's)... I see the man, who was driving, nudge his wife & point out the window at us... all 4 of make eye contact & the man starts givin me the thumbs up/fist type shake in the air w/ HUGE grin on his face.... sorta sayin... "F@#% YEAH!!!"
