I agree except for the jetting, most very free after market pipes come with about a 155 or 160, I run gutted stock pipes with K&N pods on the carbs, I left the reducer cone in for back pressure and I run 155 mains and 48 pilots and the dyno says I am just about right, little rich down low but not by much I think I may keep the 48s now, I was going to go 45 but I think I took care of it with the mixture screws.

As for performance I agree that gutted stock is as good or better than most after market pipes for sound and performance, can't say thats true for all. Sound maybe since I really love the sound of mine but I'm sure that if nothing else Super Trapp is better from a performance stand point.
