Hi, new guy here, first post, been lurking for awhile. I've had long TORS for about 1 month now on my '05 America (which I've only had for 2 months). The local dealership actually talked me out of Bubs (which along with TORS seems to be what they carry) claiming I'd make my neighbors mad. I like the sound of the tors over stock (anything sounds better than them), and I have noticed a big performance gain over stock. But I also had them install the airbox elimination kit with K&N's and rejet along with the tors. So I'm thinking most of the gains are from that and not the exhaust. They're pretty quiet at idle, but sound good under acceleration and cruising. I get a lot of popping and an occasional backfire on decel, and they are kind of "farty" sounding. I've not heard any of the others, but I'm thinking about gutting the first baffle of the stock pipes and drilling the second one for starters and compare sound. After reading all the glowing reports on Bubs I'm kind of sorry I didn't get them. Probably would get even more HP and torque.
