Yeah the campsite area was fantastic...and to get to it saw us ride through some terrific scenery... the hightlight must have been when we stopped at a junction to let a bunch of Harleys that were coming in the opposite direction come through..... there were quite a few of them and the looks on some of their faces was priceless when they saw a long line of Triumphs letting them through ... plenty of nods - mutual respect... just like it should be!
Psssstt.. did i say that was the 'Highlight'? ... there's a contender for the highlight.... the first few pics show us parked up on a motorway roundabout ...when we set off one of us decided to re-join the motorway in the wrong direction ... now i'm not one to tell tales....so i won't tell you that it was 'SCOUSE' ..... he'd make a crap homing pigeon.. i think we need to have him fitted with a TomTom...
I thought i'd caught both of these events on video but for unknown reasons it's just not worked out... a real shame..
