Going to install the America centerstand in the morning. Got a buddy coming over to help, looks like a three handed project. Will let you know how it goes.

If I bought one that didn't fit I would want a replacement that did. If you grind it then there is no powder coat there, I would also want a call tag so shipping is paid both ways for the replacement.

That sucks, didn't think of the duty, when I ship to Canada I sometimes label it as a gift and they don't charge any. Not sure if you could do that in this case or not.

Well got er done this morning. Wasn't to bad. One of my buddies came over and gave me a hand. Works pretty good. Looks like you would scrap a peg before you scraped the centerstand. Going to be less painful next time I clean the chanin

The old bikes had a grab handle on the side to lift it.

Maybe they should include a handle and bolts to attach it to the left side of the rear fender bracket. Putting even my old Honda 500T on the main stand would have been very difficult without the handle meant for the job.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

If you lower the bike any (1"), it is near impossible to pull it on to the stand, without first riding the rear wheel on to a 2x4 first. At least AmyLee's bike now has the feature for lubing the chain. The only other problem has been catching the heel of her left boot, if she drags her foot back along the exhaust pipe. Bob & AmyLee

I got mine from Fast Eddy. Got it fast, it fit perfect on my '05 Speedmaster, and went on real easy using the instructions provided. will have to take some pics this weekend.
