This reminded me of a recent read.
I'd always wanted to read "On the Road", but only used 1st editions were available at around $150/copy.
That was until the 50th anniversary last year when it was reissued in paperback.
I bought a used one off Amazon for $6.
Glad I waited.
To me, it was worth $6 tops.
