The real die hard old timer Harley guys have nothing but respect for our Triumphs and the Triumph brand. A lot of the younger newer trendy wannabe-a-biker guys seem to be morons when it comes to anything but HD as a lot of them never even heard of Triumph or know of the heritage or history of Triumph or even HD (they seem to think that Brando rode a HD in the Wild One and never even heard of McQueen - these are also the same guys that either never owned a bike before or traded thier japanese v-twin in on one).
There is a guy at work that for he most part has always owned Harleys. He and I wil trash talk about each others bikes, but is always in fun. When I was shopping around beofre I bought my Speedmaster, I asked him his opinion (he knows bikes and amazingly knew the whole Triumph line-up) and he highly recomended them (then went into story mode about tales of friends with Triumphs).
So anyway, for the most part our bikes are very well recieved by the HD crowd.
