Thanks for the suggestions and your effort but I would be a little hesitant to do the above for 2 reasons :
a/ It would mean I would also have to change the rear wheel if I added a TB sport spoked wheel in front, as I have the SM (cast wheels).
b/ I am not much of a wrench therefore I wouldn't want to get myself into a mess  .
Besides, I like the idea of tubeless tires (I have been spoilt in latter years).
