I HAVE noticed on a few bikes that the floorboards' outside edge will droop like you described. Mine do not do that at all. They are bone straight. At least it is NOT noticable and I DID check for that.
I did notice that the brake side floor board's front edge is slightly turned outward compaired to the shifter side. That isn't as visualy distracting as what you mentioned.
I WILL check the bike more the next time I ride it.
BTW-another short 25 or so miles on them last night and it was 2 up this time. I can't explain why but the bike is SO much easier to handle (at slow speeds) with the boards. I gather it is because my feet are allowed to be 'tucked' in and positioned closer to me. Hence putting more weight at the center point. (That made sense in my head-don't know it did after translation)
