I wouldn't shim the needles yet. Re-jet to probably 150 and with TORs you will probably be OK with the 42 pilots and opening the mixture screws. Then dyno it to fine tune. If you show a flat spot in the mid range then shim the needle if the mix is close otherwise. I wouldn't remove baffles from TORs if they are the straight through type, if they are not the straight through type then have at it but remember when you change intake or exhaust you need to change jetting to match.
