Okay, so I know the stock fork oil measurement is 166mm from the top, or roughly 548cc as spec'd in the manual.
I'm installing Progressive springs, STOCK height, and putting the tightly wound part down. The instructions say this might help lessen spring noise.
HOWEVER, the instructions also say that if your stock fork oil level measurement is greater than 140mm, keep it at no more than 140mm.
Is this bollocks? I know this was discussed somewhere in the past but I've been putting the search engine through its paces and came up with bupkis.
Help! What do I do? I'm so close to riding again...
