I hate to wade in.....
I know of Dazco - mainly through TRat.net.
I found him increadably annoying over there. I've spoken to another about him over a coffee and he found him annoying too. He'd ask questions and then tell people this is what he was going to do - completely ignoring what people suggested. He would be on - all the time, and when people posted that he should stop posting and go riding, he came back with he rode the bike every day - I just figured he rode round the block and then sat down back in front of the puter and started posting again.
Brutally....I found him overassertive, (you will do things my way or don't bother) arguementative and just plain annoying.
He's not the reason I've stopped looking over there, but a reason. There are about 7.

I agree with Derek (Salmaglie) in as much as I found the guy perhaps a little over-enthusiastic.
Having said that, I found a lot of his tinkering very helpful (to me) since, at the time, we were of the few who had the (then) new 865cc engine (I think mine was the first on here - DEC '04).

Interesting that you don't think moderators should set an example, or be above the fray. Maybe if you chat with Chy he can give you a lesson. Besides, what Gina posted wasn't slinging mud. Just a one line post calling him a spaz is, but then I doubt you'll see the difference.

I've heard of this mystical place they call the Mod Forum. Rumour has it that if you are really good, the powers that be will let you walk in and look around, though that rumour has never been prooved.
I hear our old friend Adey, (the last person to be given the key to the magic kingdom) mysteriously dissapeared a short while after entering the promised land. Some say he left on his own accord but im not so sure.

I've started plenty of threads over the years with the best of intentions and had them go horribly wrong (one about "risk management" immediately springs to mind... whew... thought I was gonna get myself lynched over that one).
