No need! I talked to John today about this very scenario as my Clearview screen is to be made on Monday. It will only have the 4 mounting holes drilled in it as I'm not adding the chrome straps. According to at least 3 members here and John, the chrome straps are really not needed for good stability of the Clearview screen with the Triumph mounting hardware. Hope this helps. Don
