I talked with Eddy earlier this week and currently there is no easy fix for the 07/08 Americas. You can either go with a handlebar mounted screen like Memphis Shades makes or get the complete Triumph Roadster screen kit and replace the screen with the one from Clearview. Eddy thinks he may have a fix that would work for other screens, but nothing definite yet.

You cannot buy the complete Triumph Roadster hardware without getting the screen itself. As others have found, you can only order the lower brackets and upper fixing kit which don't include the chrome straps. The only way to get the straps is to buy the screen itself.
