Hi Ian, thanks for taking the time to post pics, they are very interesting and provide yet another interesting variation to the normal screens out there. At the moment I have a
Clearview 17" tinted model which I am happy with but personally I now wish it was an inch or 2 higher. My reason for this is I am 6' 1" tall and when I measured myself using
the clearview measurement guide I had also just installed hagon shocks but with incorrectly rated springs for my weight. Hence when I sat on my bike I was unaware the sag was lowering me further than it should and as such, my screen appeared higher. Well I now have the correctly weighted springs and with it, a screen I would prefer was like I said, an inch or two higher.
So, my options are to either keep the original which I might add is fine and doesn't buffet me but I just feel one a little higher would be perfect for
ME , or I have considered adding a second tier (similar to yours) using a portion of the old summer screen I have lying around.
Anyway, can I ask you how high the screen is above the top of the headlight when fully extended? Once I know that I can consider my options from that point. Thanks again.
