Nope, no adjustments needed, it's just a swap.

Depends on how mechanicly inclined you are. Pat has some great instructions here http://www.dinqua.com/Triumph/sprocket1.html. I had the dealer do mine. I think it took them about half an hour.

Yes, since you'll be running more at lower RPMs, it will increase your mileage.
