Speaking about the proposed strike in Scotland my local garage shut the pumps in the early hours of Wednesday Morning after they hiked 10pence onto a litre of 4* so it went from £1-04 to £1-14 in the space of a 12 hours. The traffic has been backed up at all the local garages. Most of which have now closed the pumps.

I really wonder about the common sense of some car drivers by panick buying they have pushed the situation to crisis point. If every body bought petrol as normal we would not see these problems.

I asked the guys in the garage about the price hike and there answer was really quite good "Its the laws of supply and demand. You demand petrol, a scarce resource and we supply the resource. You the customer will pay whatever the market dictates. Currently the market is driving a higher price." The only thing missing was a stripey shirt and a mask from the robbing bassas.

The most worrying conerning and disturbing point is if the strike does go ahead and we do have petrol shortages as predicted will I be able to get to DENT .... see if they screw up my Dent weekend I swear to god I will do damgae to the first petrol exec I ever meet.

I cannot decide whether to be a good example or a horrible warning ! Peace & respect http://www.tomcc.org/gg/ Eric
