Wondering if anyone might be able to help with this one. Took my bike out for a ride yesterday after fitting the Wiseco BB kit, goes great but whilst riding up the track to get to the main road I kept hearing a wierd noise coming from the bike that sounded somewhere between a buzzing and a rattle lasting for about 1 second. It did this 2 or 3 times in the minute to get to the road. When I was in town I heard it again both times at low revs but not labouring. Any ideas?
Also when I got back there was some milky oil coming from one of the pipes that discharge under the bike. I tried to trace this one but it disapeared under the air box. Thought maybe I had overfilled with oil but checked it and that was OK.
Apart from that the bike seems fine and runs perfect.

That reads like junk coming from the tank vent hose, a combination of road grime, condensation and old fuel vapor residue. Can't speak to the other issue as a BB is still in my distant future...

+1 on a vent hose, The other issue, could you be talking about the kind of whine that is normal for these bikes? Either timing chain noise or primary noise. I don't think anyone pinned it down that I know of and I don't care anymore since it's not a problem. I can't hear your noise so it is just a suggestion.
