Of course, you count, my friend!  Except here I was trying to point out that Britain (and hence Britons) was originally the land of the Brythonic, Celtic speakers (i.e. the Cornish and Welsh [and Cumbrians too]) and so this group are in reality the true 'Britons'. Our brother Celts from Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Mann were not Brythonic speaking but Goedelic Celtic speaking and have their origins, as you know, in the island of Ireland. Hope that clears things up!
