I read that the HD Deuce sissybar works on our bikes. Has anyone out there done this? Was there any adjustments to be made? Looking for some info as I have put out some feelers to locate a used one.
thanks,
tali

I installed the deuce backrest, a little bit of cutting and grinding but easy enough. If photo post was up I would put some picture on for you.

I used a Duece backrest and luggage rack on my 04 speedy with the stock seat. I had to drill holes in the fender and narrow the mounting tab on the seat.

here's the thread where I installed it.

Mine is from haulenass.com, fits with only one bolt in fender, and the original 8mm at the rear of the seat, removes in seconds and the seat still fits real tight to the fender when it is in place.
