My grandfather collected antique cars and his favorite was a 1923 Bentley in British Racing Green and Silver. When I became older I started to notice that something was passed to me genetically and I was wanting to collect a classic as well. When I started looking for a bike, that car was what I was looking for on 2 wheels. Needless to say that the America fit the bill perfectly as if I had designed it myself. My grandfather died just before I purchased the bike and it just seemed right and natural for my Trusty Triumph to forever be known as Bentley in his honor.

As for the naming issue to begin with, for me I have always felt that sometimes a machine becomes something a little more. It transcends being just a material possession and enhances your life in a way similar to other relationships. To me, something like that needs a name.
