Well after 2 years & 23000 miles of grinning I have now part exchanged my Rocket for a brand new KTM 990 Adventure! Near enough a straight swop, plus £200 & I am selling the F650. Just want one bike that will do motorways & rough stuff as well I have enjoyed every mile on the beast & the Speedmaster before that & have met some great people both here on the forum & on the road from the Midlands to Sweden & beyond. Just wanted to say thanks to you all for your help, wit & banter & if you see a black KTM Adventure on the road with Triumph patches, don't slag him off too much P.S can I still come to the Euro Rallies? I mean Jackie still has a Triumph  Ride safe & take care

Very very very cool! I 've ridden the very same one (including colour) briefly and it's a very exciting ride. Getting more and more adventurous are we Martyn? Super! Picture below taken at the Athens bike show 3 weeks ago:  About the Euro Rallies ... what Johann/Gooseman said (i.e. even if you come on a bicycle). Besides, as one of the 3 original ''founding fathers'' of the rally (along with Bengt and Johann) ... you just CANNOT not be there!  Congratulations on your new ride and good (read excellent) taste. That's the exact same bike as mine & you get the "Gobi" boxes free but they didn't mention that Lady came with the deal, I will have to call them back

Yeah Johann, the idea is to have just one bike that will be able to do any trip & now with the Halversson Jacket & gloves I thought I can start writing books & filming myself & get paid to ride a bike! maybe KTM will decide to sponsor me to get back at BMW
