Hello great fellas, I have two problems: 1. I just found out that I was running my beauty on this setting for over 6k (134, 40, AI removed, UNI filter, air box drilled out, 2 3/4 turns, two buffles out), have i done any damage to engine for running lean 2. I was about to change pilot jets, and rear rubber (one that attaches to AirBox) started to peel of, it seems that had somekind of glue or something, any advice what to use to glue it back 3. I was planning to change pilot jets to 42 ( i just cleared pipes from all baffles, 4 in total,) any help will help thank you

1 chances are no, but it is possible since I imagine you are pretty lean. If it is still running good and you have good compression still you are probably OK.
2 As far as I know or have seen so far there is no glue.
3 go 45 with the pilot.

the boots that attach the carbs to the airbox are glued to the airbox .
a good contact cement for rubber should do the trick.

Thank you for your response, and yes I did some minor changes... I had hard time to find pilot jets, and local H-D owner of little shop gave me some 42 pilots and D-tool, and later on he did dyno on my Beauty. So far this is what I did, 134 main jets, 42 pilot jets, stock needless with one shim, and yes I checked spark plugs, they are light brown.... Dyno test shows that I am running between 12-13 air ratio trough all range... thanks

Pete's right, they've used some very tenacious rubbery glue as a sealant, a good RTV window gasket sealant would be a good substitute as well. Those books make a very good air seal on their own so you're just keeping them from leaking minor amounts of unfiltered air anyway.
