Like Moe said, the bags'll be on 99% of the time - my bike's a daily ride and I don't have a car so I need them all the time for things like wet weather gear, a bit of shopping etc. Only time they'll come off is if I'm off on an overnight trip and I want to take them inside, or for washing the bike, lubing the chain etc.

Either way, the brackets for these bags're pretty small and not ugly, so I don't mind leaving them off occasionally.
