All I can say is I have seen it happen when a bike was jumped from a car and then it wouldn't charge. Now there may have been an underlying problem to start that made look as if it was from juumping I don't know since I wasn't around to diagnose the problem and I never do it to test it. I do know what a car pushes when running and I won't jump my bike from it, if you choose to, be my guest.
