Ted, the jets that come with the SS are probably a bit on the rich side if you leave the airbox completely stock. Before you spend money on anything else, remove the snorkel and try a UNI filter. Opening up the intake even that much will make a big difference now that you have less restrictive pipes and larger jets. Most of SS dyno tests were done with the jet kit they send, UNI filter and no snorkel. I would try this first and adjust the pilot screws BEFORE making any major airbox mod. It takes less than 5 minutes and only cost about $30. for the filter.
