I bought a set from Eddy with the posts for no back rest. When I installed them the front posts were the thickness of the groove further apart from each other than were the back ones so the brackets wouldn't slide on. I thought that the wrong posts might have been sent so I contacted Eddy, and within an hour received a call from Dave at EZ brackets with apologies and a new set was sent out no charge. Very impressive service. It had the same problem as the original set so I used a cut-off wheel on a Dremel to shorten the front posts a bit and buffed the ends with a flapper wheel. Works great now.
I did phone Dave back thanking him for his service and good product, and advised him that he should look into his inventory for this application - maybe a situation of mislabeled product?
This experience led to my post about being lucky to have the vendors we have - guess I won't do that again!
