I'm pretty sure the auld folk in the Highlands are all for it. The lowlanders traditionally didn't give a fig as long as they were left alone, so that probably holds true today. The youngsters will mostly go with whatever cause seems 'trendy' or, lacking that, whatever their parents don't seem to approve of.
