A friend of mine at work just bought a new car and asked the salesman if he could throw in a few free oil changes. The salesman replied "No problem, it only has a three litre engine so I'll give you four free oil changes. That's only one case of oil right?" In reality the new car takes 5 litres per change. Sometimes you have to consider the source of the info?

Personally I drain my oil while the bike is on the side stand. Spin on a new filter and tighten the drain plug. Put her up on the jack and fill. Easy to see the glass and I don't have to hold the bike upright. With my luck I would have it fall on me.
