Does anyone know if there are any UK based companies producing decent pipes for the America or do I have to ship some from the States or Aus?.

Hi Stephen

There is a company in the UK, PM "Nobby" as I think he may just have the address somewhere. you could also take a couple of baffles out of the OEM ones.

Also you turning up for the "Dent meet"

It seems I've been seeing a lot of comments about noise enforcement over there. Are they really that bad? Here in Oklahoma they don't seem to care at all. Heck we don't even have a helmet law.

Bill, the noise level is set by the EU and forms part of the MOT test. Too loud and they can fail the test. Most of us with louder pipes on keep a stock pair somewhere and stick them on for the test. Or find a nice garage that is ok with slightly louder notes from the back end....

Troutman, I've taken the back baffle out of my stock pipe and that is louder. It's also ok for the mot.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

I will try to get down to the Dent meet but could only manage the Sunday. I might meet up with you for lunch at that pub. My mum lives in Gunnerside (8 miles away) so might combine with paying her a visit.
