... and yes, you just
KNOW I asked him about 'that' bike.
Anyone from the UK who knows the area will know where I was ... greasy spoon on A444, near Twycross.
It's a few mins off the A5, a few more mins from the factory.
At first he was all "... what bike would that be ... ? "

All he would say was that he'd put around 33,000 miles on it, he was off to Spain probably next week on it for a week and if that is the design that gets built, it's a very nice bike indeed.
Very comfy and better to handle for the smaller bloke (he was about 5'9") than the Rocket III.
He genuinley didn't know the capacity, he says they are still testing a few different sizes.
He says the engineers at the factory have to do a "what's in this one then?" test when the bikes go in!
Triumph never tells the test riders what they're riding, they're an independant company you see.
I'd guess the engine has been decided on but they probably use the different hacks to test other stuff (peg position, bars / heights etc)
He was on a Bonneville when I saw him (badges removed).
The tank looked taller to me but, he thought it was just a standard one - as I say, they're never told about the mods.
