Just to update, I ended up buying a set of Sceptres and have to say that, besides the Freak install, this has got to be one of my favorite mods to date. They let out a loud bark on start up and, with the 1.5" baffles in, have a pleasing growl whenever I get on the throttle and a non annoyingly loud purr while cruising.
The stainless finish is beautiful and the length just right for my tastes!
